Rotor broke loose of the shaft?

Rotor broke loose of the shaft?
Anybody ever have the rotor free spin without moving the rotor shaft at all? When you squeeze the throttle you can hear the motor wind up but the truck doesnt move, pinion gear doesnt move and the rotor shaft doesnt move. I took the motor apart and plastic bits came out and the rotor and shaft move separate. Ive been in the hobby for a long time but I am new to Traxxas and i have never had this issue with a brushless motor
