Electric retracts gears stripped
Hi
I.m just getting back into things and purchased an older Top R/C F-9F Panther RTF. I watched the vendor cycle the gears but now the serve motor spins, you can hear the odd click, and of course it does not extend or retract the gear leg, which functions fine by hand.
Can I service the cylinder and replace the gears or can someone help me source a replacement?
Thanks in advance!

if you are comfortable taking apart a modern servo, and replacing the gears in it, then the typical motor drive unit for the retracts will not be much difficulty for ya.
take pictures as ya dissemble it, and then it is easier to re assemble after cleaning and re greasing everything.
usually harder for me to source replacement parts, than it is to take it apart and re assemble it.

Here are some pics of the unit. I have tried it disassembled 。 The servo motor seems fine. I think the issue may be with the servo gear and/or the gear reduction box. There are marks on some of the gears as well as at the end case bearing.
