Default Red Swallow

After upgrading one of my indoor Pattern to higher voltage 2S power set up I got stuck with few goodies, including micro servos, receiver and the Coaxial power unit to install to my latest build on the workbench to enjoy another bit of creativity in this wonderful bobby.
The new frame design cut out is well in progress, already covered with the fine 2 Micron Mylar ready for the X upper fuse.

My new indoor Pattern frame cut outs ready for coverings.

Ready for the upper profile frame.

Premiere test flight today with the Red Swallow, not quite happy, while trying to stay at more traditional Pattern frame design the main wing area is much too small so it's back on the bench to enlarge the LE area for fore stability. Simple fix to improve it further.

Busy test flying day.

After simple mods I have enlarged the flying surface of the main wing by 5dm to lighten it up. Ready for test flights next couple of days back at indoors.

Simple mod to improve the breed.

5dm extra wing area.

After a simple LE extension model performs immaculate, now to my liking after numerous flights.

While going through the most atrocity weather condition, cold and blowing the gale it is so nice to be able to fly indoors dead calm. Another awesome day at Max stadium with the "Red Swallow".

My latest Red Swallow leading the fleet.

Back at Max venue.
