The trim you see here will arrive from Callie in a couple of days.
Hey Sig, good to see you again, I have finished the Spad except for redoing the top covering of the top wing. I have started on an OSMW 56 similar to the Frontier Senior above. It will be powered by a Saito 50, too big I know but I don't have another FA 30-s. I think a bolt on wing is doable on the 56.

Easy123, Mark at OSMW designed that trim then sent the software to Callie so we could all get it. You can order it in the colours of your choice.

Hey guys it’s been awhile. Life has changed so much.
I have come to a crossroads where I think it’s time to thin out the stock pile. Is anyone interested in buying an engine or two. Tell me what you are looking for I will see what I have and we can talk price.

On your FA-125, I don't remember the two that came through my shop as running exceptionally hot. Other than the obvious; too lean on the needle settings or a brand new engine, there are a few other things that can make them run hotter i.e. bad bearing (s), leaky exhaust valve, sticky piston pin, cylinder chrome plating erroded or peeling, etc. I'm sure you'll get it figured out.

Capt, I sent you a 2nd PM, but I think you did not receive it. so now I have sent you a 3rd PM.
something is going-on with my PM page, it has changed, all I did was send that 2nd PM. now it opens in a different page.

I have the newer 125-a, it has deeper and more open cooling fins than the the early version.
I was looking through some boxes the other day and low and behold I opened one there was a near new Saito FA 30-s. I now have 3 and that's good because I have built more OSMW planes than I have engines.
125-a cylinder on the right.

Overheat? What fuel?
I never had a heating problem with either one. The fuel was always methanol with 14% Oil-14%Nitromethane. Sparked ran a bit hotter than glowbut never excessive. If running spark with timing retarded heat would be a problem(?)

like a 220 and a couple 180’s that are like new in the boxes. Then I was looking for an engine and found a 72 that looks like it’s never been run. Plus every time I pick up an engine to see what it’s it’s an 80. How in there world did I get so many 80’s in various conditions
