The Heng Long T34/85 has rather large round-end slots for vision slits all around the commander's cupola:


It appears that there are supposed to be welded-in vision slits instead:


I'm going to model up some drop-in vision slits that can be glued into the Heng Long open ports.

Does this seem proper?

Yeah it would seem proper as the Taigen/Torro T34 looks like the pic above and not like the Heng Long.

I modeled up some vision slits. They have a flange that you can apply some superglue to and then push in from the inside of the cupola.

Note that Heng Long also has the roof of the cupola backwards. It can be carefully pried up and turned 180 degrees and re-installed. The part is keyed to a slot in the cupola. Easiest thing is to file off the key. Or, you can cut a new slot.
