If you are using the Perry "shaker" pump, you have to fashion
a metal plate, and bolt it onto the engine backplate. The fuel
line comes from the tank, into one side of the pump, out the
other side....and up to the carb. The pressure line from the
muffler to the vent line of the tank is the same as before.

If you are using the V30 pump....the engine crankcase vent
line goes to a "tee". ( 3 connections) The second line goes to the
bottom of the pump, and the third line goes out side the cowling,
as a normal vent. A fuel line comes from the tank to the "in" side
of the pump (on top) and the "out" line goes to the carb. Muffler
pressure may, or may not be needed.

Dave.

the shaker pump will fit right on the back plate but you will need 2 longer screws.

Hey fly boy dave it sounds like you have done this before,so does the tank need to be vented so that the pump does not try to suck the tank in, I know it will not do that but you know what I mean, does the tank need a line so it can get air into it possible with a one way valve so the tank will not drain during a knife edge or inverted manuevers
