A Glassing
Hello
I have a question. Last summer , I brought plane from swapmeet. Looks like owner started and never finished the plane.
Plane looks like about 10-15 years old. Had couple cracks on fuse. And i started to sand that areas. under primer , i saw plane was
glassed. Now, in some places i sanded glass out. Now i have to glass plane again or any other way to fix balza areas. Any idea?
Thanks. [8D]

RE: A Glassing
You can patch with light cloth and epoxy finishing resin, but you might just want to use more primer to fill the areas where you sanded through and not worry about it.

I agree with Cafeen Man. Just take some .6oz cloth and a good resin, lay the cloth on and paint the resin on with a bursh then blot with toilet paper to get rid of some of the excess resin. Alow to dry the sand lightly being carefull not to sand through the glass again. Oh and have fun. Randy
