RE: Hitec 645 steering question
this is my first experience with a metal servos . I have installed numerous servos before and they always came with what i needed to make the adjustments . This servo set does not have anyhting it it that will make the steering work .
My second question is how did you install it . I did not have the proper tools to just take out the servo So I took the whole front off . It was easier than stripping the screws and it was easier that way to work . For futrue ref and toher people reading this forum , How did you do it .

your truck came with the adapter. check with the stuff that came with it. all you need is the bottom part of the servo saver and you have it from when the truck came. just take the ones off and size it up.

Vizaracer is right. There should be an adapter that goes in the servo saver. I'm wanting to think it was on a parts tree that came with my Savage but I've slept since I upgraded so I can't remember. lol

get yourself a ofna cnc top or a kimbrough servo saver . the stocker is a real load. for 5 or 7 bucks, its worth not having to take it back apart when you realize how much control you are losing through your stock servo saver. and they both come with adapters for 25 26 and 27 spline servos
