Default Y/A F-4 plug in wing

Hi

I was putting the plug in wing set together and have gotten rather confused. The actual mount (the part thats in the fuse) has a threaded hole on the bottom and a screw that goes in it, what is this for?...because once i permanently mount everything i wont be able to access this as it will be so close to the floor of the aircraft.

I have a couple of screws left over ( no, not screws loose ). In the mount, there are a couple of arms that encompass the wing shaft that slides in it, am i supposed to drill and tap the top of these arms to receive the 2 screws to clamp the wing shaft down?

I would appreciate help on this, and if possible, 1 or 2 pics , i just don't want to screw this up.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Give me a call or send me your phone number. It's actually a pretty easy situation, but I understand how it can look confusing at a glance. One question, though--did your receptacles come with both a set screw and a socket-headed screw?
