Zoom/Shogun Parts Available
As of today (Sunday 6-27-04) Xtreme RC just got a new batch of Zoom-Shogun-Dolphin parts in (store.xtremercproducts.com/). Bob Li at Xtreme is asking that you limit orders of the tail output gear & shaft (replacement part # 165190, with the G021 crown gear) to 2 per person, so that everybody has a shot at the limited supply.
BTW, Helihobby is planning to start shipping an aluminum replacement for the crown gear around 7-5-04, priced at $29.
HeliHobby and HobbyPeople have some Z-S-D parts in stock, but according to their web sites, they are out of stock of critical parts such as main shafts, hardened main shafts, main rotor blades (I'm ordering a set of the Like90s to see how they do; I'm currently using a set of Hummingbird CP blades as emergency replacements), and spindle shafts. As I write, Xtreme RC has all of these in stock.
For the skeptics out there, I'm not associated with Xtreme RC or any other store; I'm just alerting my fellow Z-S-D owners to what little I know.
