from pierre hollis website: http://www.geocities.com/pierrehollis/mh3.htm
There are three reasons for using an aluminum swashplate:
1. You will never break an arm.
2. You will never break the a/r pin.
3. It includes the ball-in-swash mod
also get an aluminum hub:
There are two reasons for using an aluminum hub:
1. You will never lose your bearings again!
2. You will never break the bearing pins again!
I'm DEFINITELY getting both for my Eco

RE: Swashplate mod?
Hi Nuch,
You didn't make clear which Piccolo swashplate mod you are referring to; I am aware of at least two:
The aluminium swashplate, which is available ready made.
The Ball-in mod.
I have done the Ball-in mod and I highly recommend it. it reduces the float and slop of the standard swashplate and adds more direct control. Here is the webpage with the instructions that I used: http://www.pgoelz.com/piccolo_faq.html
Parts required are only a short piece of fuel pipe, a spring from a retractable ballpen and
a ball from a hobby shop which was 6mm diameter with 3mm hole. Time approx 30 minutes.
Best regards Merlin.
