i have a tmaxx 2.5 it starts good and it tuned fine but when i rev it it dont move it feels like it wants to move but it just revs me and my dad checked to see if there is something stripped in the transmission but when we opended it they all looked new

Yes check your gear mesh i have seen the engine move forward after a sudden stop. If thats the case then loosen screws under engine and slide it back and tighten the screws back ( after doing this make sure your gears spin easy not tight=a little free play )

If you just changed your spur make sure you tightened your slipper clutch right. Tighten it all the way down then back it off 1/8-1/4 turn.

I found ur problem right there. Did you puut the slipper pegs into the new spur gear?

i dont really know that much about them i am new so me and my dad dont know what alot of the things are
the slipper pegs the things that the spurgear goes in between if so then yeah i put that in
