.21 to 2.5
I was curious if a t-maxx 2.5 would bolt into my OFNA MBX, and if so what would I need if anything. I have a .21 force now that needs to be replaced, Thanks...Dave

Why would you want to change from a big block to a small block? That's just dumb. And a TRX2.5 at that? Anyhoo, I suppose it's possible, but the buggy will be a lot slower than if you used a .21 Why don't you just buy a big block? A wasp .28 is pretty cheap and makes great power for the money.

Your rite, I was not paying to much att. to how the numbers were, as you were responding I was also just figureing it out, I'm new to the gas engines and I see alot of eng makes,and was just wondering what to put in at a reasonable price used or new...Dave

The problem is I bought this off ebay for 150.00 and the pull start was broke but worked good enough to hear that the engine had good compression. so I bought a roto start set up, I put a new chassis, new tires, new shocks, shock towers, wing, ect. So you see I probably spent to much on it at this point. My problem now is, when I took it out in the yard for the first time, I ran about 5 min in a few circles Than in a blink of an eye, the thing takes off at full throttle into the fence about 30 feet away, I ran over right away and capped of the exaust, That nite I fixed the problem(broken servo). The next day I tried it again, but the motor turned over hard when piston went to TDC. Now I have a car that I have too much money in and Now I still need a motor, I heard It might cost me $50 to fix it, so I was weighing the price difference to may be getting something better without spending alot, since at this point I could of almost bought a new one...Dave

Oh booo...
I can proove the theorem of Lagrange and the Chinese Remainder Theorem.. but I cant convert from CI to CC..

the OS .21RG-X is a dead-solid reliable bashing engine...ditto the XTM .247 and Dynamite Mach and Sportwerks .26 (the last three are essentially the same engine, all manufactured by SH)
I think Toki makes Orion's .28, and Toki makes Fantom's engines, so those oughta be pretty decent as well.
