what is good aerobatic plane with satio 150..
got a satio 150 a new challenge for me ..I was looking at arf's that give a good power match and good stable flying..open to suggestions render me your opinions thanks..

the ryan and chipmunk sounds good to me..I also saw aeroworks is coming out with a newer version and in the 120 class..I am also looking at giles and gp has one ..

Stay away from the GP Giles, if you're looking for a stable airplane. OTOH the 68" Extra 300 by World Models is a great choice in an aerobatic platform. I've had both planes, and take my word on it the Giles is anything but stable: can u spell "tip-stall"?

I'm not a big fan of any of the acrobatic type planes that are "snappy".
Even my Arresti is touchy....fly it across the patch fast....start pulling "up"
to a good amount of elevator deflection....and the plane will snap roll
going straight up. [X(]
I don't mind snap rolls mind you....but I like them better when the plane
does them on my terms....

Horizon has the new Showtime 4D plane. Although they promote its 3D cpabilities its quite an aerobat and pattern performer. Saito 150 might look good in it too.

I think about Carl Goldberg extra 300 this plane is very lightweight 9 pounds with a Saito 150 2.5 hp static thrust nearly 15.5 pounds
a Funtana is a good choice in arf version it weight 10 pounds

Dave - I wanna see your Aresti with a Saito 150!!! Hahahahaa ... that will really solve the tail heavy issue.
Cloud - try the CG SU26MX, lovely with a Saito 120 but much better with a Saito 150.

GP U-Can-Do 3D 120 size is an excellant plane for the saito 150. Will allow you to fly slow and easy, or do acrobatics if you wish. Nothing in the book says you have to enjoy doing or trying to do acorbatics with the U-Can- Do. Sure looks pretty as a slow flyer also.
