RE: CG location for Nosen 108" 1/4 scale Citabria
I just picked up a Nosen kit myself. I think it has a wingspan of 96" though. It is a Citibria. What engines would be a good choice? And where did you guys get the wheel pants and cowl from?
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan, Fiberglass Specialties makes both style cowls due to customers wanting the less clunky looking Decathalon cowl. I chose the Decathalon style as it looked more like the newer Citabrias. You could build the Nosen kit to resemble a Decathalon if you changed the airfoil of the wing. The ribs/ airfoil are flat bottomed for the kit and I believe the Decathalon has a semi symetrical wing/airfoil. I also purchased my landing gear from TNT Landing Gear. The legs of the gear are longer to accomodate larger props for bigger engines as the kit was originally designed for 60 size engines. I have a Saito 150 in mine and it's all the power I need/ want. You can find a kit now and then on Ebay but I don't think A&A is making them anymore.
