Katana Mini Electric - Gotta have one
Been looking for a new electric to fly in my garden on days when I dont want to drive to the flying field.
Bought a local model mag on Saturday and saw the Precision Aerobatics Katana Mini. What a little beaut! Dived onto the PA web site today and ordered one up.
The site says they are in stock so hopefully I shouldn't have too long to wait.
Got a brushless motor and a 3s 2200mAh Lipo in my F27 Stryker that I'm planning to use in the Katana, might try gearing the motor to swing a bigger prop.
BTW, my "garden" is 26 acres plus overflight rights to the neighbours similar property.

RE: Katana Mini Electric - Gotta have one
K Mini was waiting when I got back home last weekend. This is exactly what I wanted, a quality ARF electric that didn't come with a heap of gear I don't need (Got motor, controller, Lipos etc).
Looks about as nice as I expected so I plan to take my time putting it together. Got next week off so should be able to get down to it then.
Should have ordered a set of CF servo arms when I bought the plane, have now done so as well as CF wheel pants. Might consider getting a new motor, will see how the Himark brushless goes first.
Also got myself on the waiting list for a Bad Boy 2!

Ordered one yesterday. The hardest part about ordering was picking the color. It's gonna be glow. Have to replace my Mini Funtana which was glow....... put her in at 40 degrees and 3/4 throtle. Elevator failed! So I am hoping that all the rigging from that will work without much problem. I'll let you know.

Got mine on Friday. What a well put together Arf. The detail and quality makes my Mini Funtana look like something I built. My first impression is that it's built too light for the glow conversion I want to do. I will do it anyway!
