Default Best Prop for 3W78 twin

I'm putting a 3W78 twin on a Ziroli AT-6 with a 101 inch wingspan. I bought the engine used and don't have the manual. I'm wondering which props will be best for this engine. Thanks in advance.

Default RE: Best Prop for 3W78 twin

Hi,

I have a 78 twin and the 85 twin. A 24 x 10 seems to be a good prop for heavier planes. I would start with it. Also, a 26 x 8 if you want a bit slower airspeed. A 26 x 10 is usually too much prop.

Hope this helps

I ran a 26-10 on my 78 forever, but on the heavier "Scale" plane you might want to use the 24 as mentioned above.
