Front diff
Ive seen somewhere in here about differential shims....Not much luck with the search.
What kind of shims? size? made from what?
Are the shims for the front diff?
Does it help the angle at which the diff hooks up?
I been through about 4 diffs now.... I rip the 13,and the 43 t bevels out.
Is there an upgrade for this?
TIA!

RE: Front diff
The rear is alloy...no problem since I changed.
But the front is stock, and ive ripped it out 3 times.
I plan on getting an alloy gear box for the front.
I will be rebuilding it soon, and I was wondering the best way to redo it?
THX

RE: Front diff
I was losing teeth from the 43T bevel until two things happened, I stopped hitting the front wheels into poles and walls and stopped landing too steep on the nose from big jumps. It's not power that causes the damage its more to do with hitting objects at mid-high speed in my experiences. as for the upgrades, well the can help but can't always fix.

RE: Front diff
I have been tryin to jump the house....WOT onto a 4 foot ramp with a collari 32..doin about 40-45 or so I can see your point about hard landings
Ive had a few of them. The ramp is set up paralel to the house ..I got the height..but not the distance,as of now Its landing on the downside of the roof on the backside...makes for a nice angled landing..till the ground comes up.
lol
