Shipping a Revo.......
Hey, I'm selling my Revo. I'm gonna put it up on my wife's eBay account once I get it cleaned up and get some pics. My question is; how much is shipping? I've never shipped anything in my life on eBay. My wife has, but usually just little things like makeup. I wanna make this as smooth as possible. Any advice? I've gotta Revo 2.5 with an OS 18TM in it and I wanna sell it and EVERYTHING Traxxas I've got for $400. That includes my 2.5R. Both motors only have a couple gallons through them combined. Is that a good price?

RE: Shipping a Revo.......
Go to the USPS, Ups, Fedex, (or whatever service you're going to use) website and use their shipping cost calculator.
BTW, costed $22 to ship my T-maxx via priority mail, that was with delivery conf. and insurance though.

I have a suggestion, DO NOT SHIP THROUGH USPS!!! They are very slow with packages. Either ship UPS or Fed Ex(even though I'm not a big fan of them either.)

RE: Shipping a Revo.......
How do I expect to get my money? Does the person buying it pay me first then I ship? Or do I ship, then get the money? May sound silly, but how's the exchange work? I'd feel more comfortable of course having the money first. But I'm sure they'd feel more comfortable having the Revo in their possession before sending out money to someone they don't know. New and strange to me, fill me in!

Use paypal. They pay you first including shipping. You go out and ship it. Once they get the item, they leave you + feedback and you do the same! Goodluck

IMHO DHL is the best of them all.

USPS Priority mail is faster than both UPS and Fedex ground, first class is about the same. The only way USPS is slower is if you ship via parcel post.
IMHO DHL is the best of them all.

RE: Shipping a Revo.......
I dont know, we all have different opinions, and I would say ship UPS. I had shipped out my chassis for my truck to CA, and it took 2 WEEKS to get to CA. I finally called the place where I sent it to, and they said it got in the day I called. (2 weeks after I initially sent it) I haven't had any experience with DHL or FedEx. I would say ship UPS, USPS is great at mail, but for packages, in my opinion, UPS all the way. (just my 2 cents)

USPS Priority will take only 3 days to be delivered for $4.05 (1 lbs price)
Have you even tried shipping stuff?
I will agree on you on PARCEL POST, it will take 10 days at least.

ino for anyting up to 50 lbs, it goes usps priority if possible.. over that its DHL all the way, Great service, and the most cost effective for packages between 40 and 75lbs or large size.

I would recommend Fedex Ground/Fedex Home Delivery - they rock. I'd estimate $18-25 shipping, but depending on what else is included besides just the Revo.

yeah usps priority mail is 2-3 days garenteed. i shipped my t-maxx and everything i needed in it which was everything it came with new and it was like 27$. that was with delivery confirmation which is .50$ and 500$ insurance which was about 6.50 so about 20-24$ or so you can ship it. thats actually not a bad price.

Yeah I've ALWAYS had great experience with USPS Priority, it just seems Fedex is usually cheaper for larger things.
Dont go UPS - it may be cheaper but.. they throw their boxes like footballs.

RE: Shipping a Revo.......
I'm selling me Revo because I'm in love with my LST2. I truly feel if many of you could experience the LST2 for yourselves' you'd understand. The Revo's handling is put to SHAME (can't emphasize this enough) by the LST2. The stock power of the LST2's Mach 427 is very impressive. Also the LST2's stock Tx and Rx is very nice. I'm sorry, but as soon as I can move on with Team Losi, I'll never look back to Traxxas. Traxxas makes toys and they have very good marketing. I'll take whatever I can get for this Revo and buy a Team Losi Aftershock or LST2. I'm not the only one sold on the LST2, there are many others who've had the Revo and sold it when they realized how nice the LST2 is. I know some of you will take offense to this and those who do probably have never driven an LST2 with 40 series tires (Crimefighers) and upgraded steering servos. After months and months I'm still growing more and more impressed with this Losi Super Truck!

hmmmmmm......out handles the revo? I have 2 lst's and 4 revo's and strongly disagree but that is only my opinion and about 50 local racers[8D] to be honest I use one of my lst's for pulling and one for a shelf queen.

RE: Shipping a Revo.......
dont own either, havent drove Revo but i have the lst, though its quite nice, i personally think my Tmaxx handles a bit better. alot to remember is the handleing has to do with the electronics as much as it does the set up. lets face it. traxxas servos SUCK CANAL WATER!!!! the LST2 comes with Decent JR servos. you put those same servos in your Revo, set them up properly, and watch the hell out, you ll be in Great control. add beadlocks and bowties and its even more handleable.. before you selll it switch a few things and check it out. Buyers on Ebay PAY shippping unless your willing to ship for free, but at 400.00 If you got that, you d actually onle see about 345 of it after listing and selling fees, and another 3% off the top for paypal fees, and if you pay shipping, your close to 300 for your 400.00 sale. so add shipping and state buyer is responsible for all shipping costs..

RE: Shipping a Revo.......
You reasoning for saleing is very understandable. About a year ago, I was searching for my truck. I hated the savage, for I know a guy with one. He said be has broken so many little parts it rediculous (things like servo savers.) Not very expensive, but end your day. Then, it was between the Revo and LST Heard great things about both. And the Revo was $100 cheaper. And thats just because the LST is bigger and has better engine and electronics, so it wasnt because it was a much better truck. I would say after my research they both were about equal. But being 14 and buying the truck with birthday money, I got the Revo and have not been disapointed at all.
