Specific Radio Needs
I have some radio needs. Please pick the best radio in the list that covers the most of my needs (If it missed on or two its ok). And here my needs are:
1.) Minimum 3 model memory
2.) Around $100-$150, $200 Max if really worth it.
3.) Exponetial (This is the thing where you can set how much thorttle to give at certain parts of the thottle trigger pull right??? Like for racing on street you need little adjustments on the radio)
4.) Spektrum Capable
5.) EPA
6.) 3 channel
7.) ??? If you think of one thats important... Chime in!
If there isnt a radio I suggested please tell me. If there is a special feature that is good for bashing and racing on the street please tell me. Remeber I dont need any Namodio or m11, because I bash and most of the features I would never need.

RE: Specific Radio Needs
I voted other because theres that Nomadio Brown Box special and its only $269. For that price you cant get anything better. Nomadio All the way!
If not I would go for the Futaba 3PM. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...07&FVPROFIL=++ Only $109

RE: Specific Radio Needs
The Nomadio sound like a great deal, but the $269 price is above my limit. And Also, I dont need all those features. I dont usually need to worry about crystals because I only bash. So, I think the radio is overkill for me anyways. The 3Pm looks nice too though.

RE: Specific Radio Needs
well the only radios you have listed that meet all your requirements and cost less than $200 is the crx and srx. the dx-2 is 2 channel and 2 model memory, the dx-3 is above your price limit and none of the others listed are spektrum compatible. so i guess that narrows it down a bit.

RE: Specific Radio Needs
Well, they dont have to match all my requirements. Just most. 3 Channel is a must, so I an remove the DX2. Good point there, and I want at least 3-4 model memory, because im 15 with two trucks, so I plan to get more over the years. Revised List of REQUIRED (Above list is wanted, this is required):
1.) $200 or less
2.) 3 model memory
3.) Exponetial
4.) EPA
5.) 3 channels
If you notice any radios on my list dont have one of these, I need to remove it so tell me. Thanks

The XS3 is in my range, but barely. I would prefer something cheaper. Plus I dont want to have to pay for those terrible servos which I wont be able to use. The only servo I could possibly use is the Metal Geared 80oz one for throttle on my revo. I need way more torque for steering. Although the sythesized feature is nice.

RE: Specific Radio Needs
I highly recommend the 3PK (try to get it used on ebay). I got one for $175! Just be patient and bid strategically. Futaba has excellent customer service, I broke my display, and they totally replaced it for less than $35!
