I am a newbie to nitro cars. I've flown planes for quite some time now and are thinking of getting into nitro cars. Im mainly looking towards offraod stadium type. Ive looked at t-maxx, associated, Hpi and can't decide. i really like the rc 10 gt plus and its price. what should i get and from what site. or would building one be cheeper

T-Maxx and Savage are great Trucks, parts are available everywhere, and alot of people run them so it is easy to find friends. Personally I Like the Savage, and Nitro Mag and RC Car mag reviewed it in the last 2 months, and both gave it "MOST Reliable" rating.

The GT Plus is a great truck. It isn't hard to tune properly and is a good durable truck. The transmission is very solid and doesn't require alot of mantenance. However, now I own the Nitro Rustler 2.5 and that truck is unbelievable. It comes ready to run so you're set to go for under $300. It also has the Traxxas 2.5 engine that has 60% more power than the .15 engine that has the electric easy start so you don't have to worry about the pull start. The truck goes 47 mph out of the box. It is very durable maintenance free truck. Whichever you decide you won't be disappointed.

The savage is a good truck but I know I say this all the time but the CEN Fun Factor kicks, especially the monster truck version.
