Default Engine for GP P6-E Hawk

can this plane handle a Magnum 1.80 FS? I understand that it needs a lot of nose weight with a .91FS.

Have a Mag 120 4 stroke in mine..it does the job and very reliable...I think a 180 is overkill..just my opinoin...good luck on your choice...

I'm running an Saito 1.50 in mine and it's a perfect match. Half throttle for most flying, full throttle for verticle maneuvers.

I have a 1.80 so I would like to use it. Also have a OS .91FS that is currently on a Hog Bipe. Don't want to buy both the plane and a new engine. Doubt that magnum 1.8 hs more power than Saito 1.5 but I'm sure it weights more. I see that some a using gas engines so weight should not be a major problem. Still debating the purchase.

I am going to put a Saito 125 in mine. Heard it is the right weight and perfert power ratio. The only problem is with the engine mount made by Saito for tghe 125, you have to put 1 and 1/2+ inch stand-offs to make the cowl fit. I've also heard that anything above a 91 4 stroke is plenty of power for the P6E Hawk.
