I just bought this Savage SS 4.6, i figured it was a good price. THIS IS the SS 4.6 like everyone else has right?

Savage SS 4.6 is real tough truck, Savage X is a pretty bad Savage, Savage X SS 4.6 toughest Savage yet.

Haha ok so its a tough truck. How FAST is it compaired to an X and a X SS?
So i'm guessing a Savage X SS is the best folowed by a Savage SS and then a Savage X?

How fast should i expect this SS to go?
Will it beat a Revo 3.3 and a T-maxx?

The SS4.6 kit was selling for around $400 6 months ago.
Radio with servos , between $100 to $150.
Good glow igniter with charger $30-$40
Hump pack with charger $35 or so.
rechargable batterys and charger for radio ? (not sure)
If you had to buy the paint for body $10 per can.
That four way wrench is $10 to $20.

You did good. And the money you saved you can use to
upgrade weak parts to X SS parts.

Not putting you down or anything, but whats with people and wanting the fastest truck they can find? Sure, speed is important, but it shouldn't be the deciding factor on what truck to buy. Heck, stick an STS .28 or Axial .32 in the Savage and watch the T-Maxxes and Revos disappear in your rearview.

Because i have a problem with speed. I always want the fastest things. Hence why i own a Dodge Viper and i added Nitrous, and in the spring i'm adding a Super charger.
Same when i buy a truck next year, i'm adding a super charger, its all about the POWER! You can't ever have enough.
So yah thats kinda why i want the fastest truck.
