Revo 3.3 "opinions "
Whats up fellas hey today i got an onboard temperature monitor so I can tell when the engine is going to melt it got up to 312 F pretty hot according to traxxas but ran really good besides dying 2 after WOT 2 a dead stop. my question is that normal temperature 4 the 3.3 engine any tips? i have a hole in the windshield

If you have proper air flow and you are getting those temps...you are running way too lean. YOu probably have a pretty good sized air leak. Heck, even if you have no hole in your windsheild, that's still way too hot. First suggestion...richen it up. If it runs like crap and still has high temps, check for air leaks. Or if you have some time to break the car down, check for leaks first.

my temp (im guessing because i dont have a gun) but its probably somewhere between 250-280. its at 3 1/4 turn out from closed. it runs perfect, and try not to tune so much by temperature even though it can be helpful, just tune by shifting, idle, smoke, and speed or overall performance. 312 sounds a little high to me. turn the HSN or LSN ( i forget which is which) but the one for main tuning till tension then turn 4 full turns out to stock. If its still running that high then my guess is an air leak

ya i thought lean 2 so did richen it up a little and it sounded a little rich but before that it had nice blue smoke maybe i will try again tomorrow. R airleaks commonplace 4 rc engines because they talk about them a lot
