Default Draganflyer paint job ?

We like to paint our new Draganflyer cover (the one cover the TI and main board). If we do that will effect TI function? Thx

No it won't..but you will not be able to see the three status LEDs though .
Flat black looks very good on a draganflyer..

I sprayed flat black under the canopy, it gives it a nice gloss look from the top. I put circle price stickers in front of the green lights and the top red LED on the inside before painting then peeled them off after drying.

There used to be a user here named Koop who did beautiful air-brushed canopies. I have one of his, a dragon-style design. I also finally got a set of decent rotors painted up, although I have no idea how long they'll last once I start using 'em. I'll try to post pictures of my DF with Koop's canopy and my rotors on it today or tomorrow...

Here are some shots of my Draganflyer with a canopy by Koop Ferwerda, who used to be around here (username Koop), and some rotor blades I painted up. My 9-year-old took the in-flight shots...He got some interesting ones, I think (but I may be biased... )!

He had fun. As for the framing, he was being rather challenged by my flying, I'm sure! [X(]

(Thanks, guys!)
