RE: Aviation Models Extra 260
I'm not sure where they all went but almost everyone is gone from the warehouse. I know that Troybuilt has some in stock also. But there is quite a few out there. Lets see some pics and a build thread!!

RE: Aviation Models Extra 260
Maybe the word is not out yet....think everyone is still concentrating on the Yaks. I don't know how many are on the shelves but Chief has a good shipment of 30% and 35% 260's. I have the 30% and a new DA-50 for it. Haven't started work on it yet but it looks very well built and construction should be a snap. I am going to cut down the built-up firewall and use 3 inch spacers to keep the carb out of the fuse. Nice new method of mounting the engine cowl too. I'll try and take some pix this week.

Don't know for sure but have heard in another 3 or 4 weeks. If they had been in stock it would have been a hard choice since I have a ZDZ that needs a home.

RE: Aviation Models Extra 260
I just recieved mine from Chief today, I will be using a DA-50. I also have the YAK, it is awesome. I have never done the firewall before the YAK was done already. Can anybody give me some help here? I am using a DA-50 with 3 inch stand offs. I will be doing a build thread on this plane also.
Thanks,
Conrad

I was looking at several of the 50 cc AM aircraft at Chief but was afraid of not being able to get spare parts even though I wouldn't ever need any.

RE: Aviation Models Extra 260
I have a 35% coming tomorrow. After talking to Bill at TBM I decided to go with the 35% for my ZDZ super 80 instead of the 33%. It sounds like a good combo with a big weight savings over the twins. We shall see how it goes? If it doesn't have enough power, I will drop my BME 115 in it
