It is finished and is a great bird. I was not disappointed with any of there process except one thing in the instructions. They say glue the robarts in the wing first then the ailerons. I had to do it the other way to get the throws where they would be max. I put a Saito 180 on it with Hitec 645mg servos at 6V. I hope you guys like it, PIX to fallow.

Default Just flew mine tonight!!!

I agree...this is a super plane. Did you have to add any weight to the nose with the 180? I put a G-23 gasser on mine...CG came out at 4" with the battery right under the receiver. With the G-23, it's just a little underpowered, but I like cheap fuel and no glow starters!!! I couldn't believe how nice it rolled...like a pattern plane. Hopefully my Thumbs will keep it in one piece for awhile!!!

Only think I changed was the tailwheel...I switched to a Sullivan unit...

That is an awesome looking plane! How old is your G23? Do you think the G26 might be better?
I think it is the same weight. I really look forward to seeing yours fly Bill. When and how do you fly a tray? What do you mean, like a Mc Donalds tray?
Maybe with a YS91FZ, Hmm<runs out to work shop>~).

My G-23 is about a year old...and not flown that much. Yes, the G-26 would be better...it's a $$$ issue...I have the G23, and something else would need a budget increase from the wife......and she's TOUGH!!!

Yes I have, I put the SATO 180 on it and it has unlimited vertical and hovers at under 1/2 throttle. It pulls vertical out of a hover with authority. I went for light with mine and decided against the gasser, I'm saving those for my 30% and bigger. If you did the hinges with extra throw it is defiantly 3D capable, I just haven't gone to the extreme with my throws yet. It should wall well and harriers very well for me with little wing walking when I'm dragging the tail wheel down the runway. Ill pump up the volume as soon as I can due to I will not be able to fly for a bit because I'm having surgery on my back tomorrow.
Keep it flying while I'm out, I sure ad heck won't be able to.
