Default woops what a mistake !

well being new to the rc hobby about 2 months ago i blew the reverse on my revo and spent hours sucesfully replacing it then i finally got it running propally i take it out a week late get stuck down a steep dirt hill face first into a wall now im stuck ... i cant get down the slippy hill so i jam it in reverse and i hear gears shred i guess i shouldnt of done this but ill learn by it, it wasnt that the truck didnt have the power i put little bits on i didnt jam it on like a noob but the truck started bogging and wooop... reverse is dead im thinking of chaging my truck to FOC what do u guys think is it worth it thankx guys

Id go with the FOC. It is less rotating in there so it makes it a bit faster. Plus it is one less thing that can break.

And you could add the center diff or rear break kit in the future if you wanted to.

ye i thort the FOC would be good i also luv repairing my truck i luv it as much as driving it so i odnt mind i just think a FOC wud be good and wanted opinions

Its one of the best and cheapest upgrades you can do. I tell everyone to do that unless they really have to have reverse. Some people wont give up the reverse.

you get to dehorn alot of things in there to like the servo and opti drive therefore making it weigh less.

I went through the same thing.

reverse gear $8

FOC $12.50

I went FOC and have no regrets. Forces you to drive better too

FOC, center diff and rear brake (the center diff includes the FOC kit) .. you will not regret it...

Yep if you jam on it in reverse....it will die never fails
