Default Antenna Routing on 67" Fusion

I have located my reciever in the fuselage socket between the wings. I am looking for a good way to get the antenna routed outside the fuselage without getting in contact with servo leads. Anybody have any good ideas with pics. I thought about drilling a small hole from the bottom side of the fuselage but I don't want to drill thru the carbon fiber tube. I don't know the exact location of these tubes but i assume one is located below the wing running the length of the fuselage.

It's O.K. to drill a small hole through the carbon beam on the Fusion and run the antenna along the bottom side of the fuselage. I used a inner piece of nyrod as a tube to route the antenna through and I used a rubber band and a piece of servo arm to attach to the tail wheel assembly.

I hope this is helpful.

Nice job, Jeffro. What kind of servo rods & connectors are those - they look strong.

Those are the carbon rods and titanium rod ends from www.centralhobbies.com . The clevises are MK ball bearing units with MK horns. Check out the web site and you will see a schematic of the whole linkage setup. The linkage is very strong with NO SLOP. It makes a HUGE difference especially when using digital servos.

Thanks for the info and pics. I just wanted to make sure it was ok to drill thru the carbon tube. That looks good. I used the same linkages are clevis on mine as well.

Thanks Andy
