Default Prop to motor mount ?

OK I want to mount a prop to a 540 motor I have but cant understand how the two fit and what I would need to do it. I know nothing about planes...

The motor has a 1/8" shaft with a flat on it...

Look for a prop adapter. Something like this http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXVY80

Ok ... see I just didnt know if the prop mounted to the motor shaft or what....... Thanks..

So that adapter you listed will fit most any 540 elec motor ? I have a motor from a monster truck just collecting dust I wanted to do something with.

Thank you....

That one in the link is 3mm.... you need a 3.2mm adapter for a 1/8th shaft.

MJ 4702 from H-L is what you need (if you must buy from Tower, then I'm sure they stock a 3.17 or 3.2mm adapter too): http://www.hobby-lobby.com/propadap.htm
