Default value of old rc cars

I have a old jrxt, clod buster ,rc10Lss, and most of a gold tub rc10,these cars are from the mid 80's. Most of them still run,and are complete. Do these old cars have any value. I hate to see them sit collecting dust. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

You will find people who collect them, especially Tamiya stuff.

I'd check ebay and see if anyone is selling them and if so you will get a good idea how much you can get for them.

None of them are worth a fortune but you can definitely get a few dollars for each of them. I'm not sure about the jrxt, but the Clod is worth around $150 if its in good shape and RTR. The rc10s are both worth around $80-100 in good shape.

Just keep them and bash with them. I still have my 1985 (maybe 1984) RC10, a JRxT truck and still have lots of fun with them.

I also have (offering for sale to a collector who would value it), an unused, and [my] hand built "new" Cox Nissan GTP 049 gas on-road car with clear body, box, receipts, all spare plastics, 2-3 extra glow plugs and 2 installed micro servos ($60 alone) for sale.

I have an original few cars, and people come over and go " HOLY SHEEETT ! I REMEMBER THAT CAR !"

It's kinda cool when ya can just pull it off the shelf and pop a batter in and take it out and blast around the yard with it

Why would someone pay 150 bucks for a used Clodbuster, when you can get a New in box KIT for 199?

Two things: First of all like quadzilla said above a lot of people want the original Clod Buster which came with a slightly different body and red parts instead of blue. Secondly the used ones tend to come with a radio and many times an ESC.

I had one of those when I was a kid. They're cool little cars though from what I've seen aren't worth much.

BTW Since it's against RCU rules I suggest you try selling it in the market place and not on the forums.

I am in a similar spot.. I have been playing with these since 1989 or so.... and outof the blue, my extranged father asked if my brother and I wanted all his stuff. we said yes, but teh rule was,if you take SOME you take it ALL. We should have looked fisrt.... 2 FULL Jeep Grand Cherokee loads later, full ,top to bottom no passenger room.. the basement was full.... we sold off a BUNCH of stuff...got a LOT of pancar stuff sitting around now though. 15 or so cars if I guessed and about 30 POUNDS of parts minus tires and wheels
Some stuff is selling, some, not so much....
