Default Magnum 91 Four Stroke on a Katana V2 (having to enlarge the engine slot)

Hey guys. I recently pulled my two stroke off the Katana in hopes of mounting my Magnum 91 Four Stroker. The engine is a little too large for the slot. If I line up the mounting holes with the top edge, I'll have to sand off the entire bottom lip and then pass the screws through the wood just below the lip (I'd sand it down so it's flush). Has anyone else done this? I have an OS55AX sitting around that I can use too if this isn't a good idea, but I think a nice four stroke could be fun on this plane,

Sachin

Sachin, not sure how much meat is extended into the fuse frame so if you cut out essentially the whole bottom rail the fron may be too weak. With any engine installation though you want to maintain the center line so therefore you should cut out the top and bottom mounts evenly until the engine fits. If this is the Kat 46 then I would go for the 55AX which would be a great combination.
