Yes, the 10X will allow you to assign then all on the same switch if you wish. So will the 9Z.
If you want a fairly extensive overview of each radio as it compares to the other, check the MISC section of my web site at www.GiantScaleRCcom. I have extensive experience with both radios, and I wrote a fairly unbiased comparison. I feel its unbiased because I really like both radios, still have both radios, and would highly recommend either one, and I tried to write the review without my personal preferences. The differences really come down to individual needs, priorities, and ergonomics.
I really went through each radio function by function, and also tried some advanced programming examples. They are both capable of anything that was thrown at it.

I like the futaba even though I hade been a JR guy for a while.
The Futaba is a stronger computer radio and is almost infinite in its mixability. The JR is a bit more limited.
Othewise they will both handle your needs for IMAC type flying and 3Dn around.

Yeah, if they can win the TOC's with either brand, either will do. Just go with the radio that is either cheapest or compatibatle with all your current gear.
