Global Ultimate ARF
Info.. I have the Global Ult. flying with Saito .91 4stk, 14x6 prop and built w/0 incident Bottom wing, +1 on the top. I think the l/gear is too short for the prob clearance and will make an extension. The landing attitude is too nose low and results in higher than normal landing speed,, but this does prevent tip stall. The plane is set with max. throws and for me it could use a little more on the ail. to suit me. It is a vertical plane and flys very well. If I built this again, I would leave a 1/16" gap in the ailerons to keep them from binding at high throws. This is why I am limited. Plane is great,, balanced on the cg and will do great flat spins. Fun to fly and do aero. I built it with the 2deg right thrust and flew it,, then set the engine to zero/zero,, for better t/o and landings. Good plane.. Jim
I did not use the pushrods in the kit,, metric and had difficult getting threaded rod to fight right so switched inners to nyrod.
