Hitec HG-5000 Gyro and Rudder Trim
Anyone know if you can use rudder trim once the gyro is setup? The instructions say not to use subtrim or trim during setup, but nothing after setup. I setup the gyro in rate mode and then switched to TL mode and it worked great. I followed the setup instructions to the T. After that flight I flew again and the tail was drifting a bit. I am in the middle of going through the setup again, but I am wondering if the tail should always hold perfectly straight without ever having to use rudder trim. Is it normal to have to trim the tail every so often or should it never need trim. Other than this one thing the tail holds great. Any ideas?

RE: Hitec HG-5000 Gyro and Rudder Trim
On the next flight that it drifted it was on a fresh pack, not at the end of the pack. Could my tail belt be too tight? I am not sure how tight it should be. When I spin the head with my hand, it spins a few revolutions and then stop fairly quickly. Could my motor gear lash or tail belt be too tight?? How easy should the head spin by hand?? Forgive me for the quesitons, but this is my first 3D heli setup. I have learned a lot from Finless Bob vids though! Kudos Finless!
