white deposits on combustion chamber
Hi guys, today i stripped a friends KJ66 (homebuilt) to find some white deposit on the inside and outside of the combustion chamber, has anyone else stripped an engine to find anything like this? let me know your experiences

i must be the only person on Rcuniverse that takes engines apart, i guess the rest of you just use them and don't know how they work............hey, just kidding, just trying to get some answers

No pictures at present, do you think you have an idea of what it is? my only guess is that it is carbonised oil
i could try and take photos of it but don't think the macro on my digital camera will go close enough

I've completely taken my FD3/67 apart 6 months ago to clean the fuel vaporizer coil and also saw some deposits. I believe the light colored deposit is the sulfur from the fuels. The carbon soot is from the propane.
