RE: New cat on the market
I don't have any pics of the inside just yet and the width is around 18 inches. Rod sells the bare hulls which come with engine rails and radio box or we can do RTR but not sure on the price yet, I will have to get back to you but one thing for sure it will be alot cheaper then MH$. The rudder and strut have been specially designed and made for the cat also and is an extra $200.00 AU.

RE: New cat on the market
You asked for some feedback so I'll give you some.
The boat looks awesome, very scale like, I really like the back of it. But IMO the scoop on the top look pretty average.
I think a low key duct would look much better.

RE: New cat on the market
It might be so the spark plug fits?
I'm interested to see the smaller hull when that comes out.
do you/will you offer a different cowl? Did one of these compete in the recent AMPBA Nats? I was looking at the results on the AMPBA forum, but only the person & position for each class is posted, not what they ran.

RE: New cat on the market
The top air scoop is only for looks, if you want to fit twins it will definatly accommodate them under the cowl without cutting any holes. There is no differant cowl at this stage but maybe in the near future. These cats did not compete in the AMPBA nats as they where only just put on the market. Thanks everyone for your feedback.

RE: New cat on the market
Hey viperhulls. On your website you mention a 50" offshore viper cat. Will this be a smaller version of the 66", or a different design? Anyone know the current AU to US dollar conversion? How much is $750AU in US?

The new 50inch cat will be similar but not exactly the same, it is still a couple of months off being completed.
