You guys must all be a bunch of crazed pyromaniacs, coz I didn't burn my toys when I was a kid.
Now, shooting them up with a pellet gun or a .22, that's a different story !!

I have serious concerns for you, my brother, SERIOUS!
I did the SAME THING! I also used to strap fireworks rockets around them and launch them.

Nah, just a little plastic model and ladyfingers-It was the end to a lot of my plastic models when I was a little kid. S

Back in my day they were made of balsa, tissue, and were painted with Dope... a Cherry bomb was installed under the canopy frame lit the fuse and tossed off the roof.

PS I was under the impression that ladyfingers were pound cake that were put under strawberries (strawberry shot cake)

Oh Geez...I used to melt "bullet holes" in my models with magnifying glass, try to launch them with firecrackers, and shoot at them with a pellet gun......
Thank goodness I'm normal !!

Yer Right Joe, With the stick and tissue ones I would wind them up, light the tail on fire and let it go!-They ususally didnt go to far. We also used to tape cherry bombs to arrows and then shoot them straight up-improv rockets. For some really big shows I would get a plastic model, run a length of twine to the top of the barn, hook the model on the twine like a zipline, put a cherry bomb in it light it off and hopefully it would blow up about half way down.Good fun with firecrackers, used them to launch empty dog food cans-used to wrap 2,3 or 4 four together, twine the fuses and hope they went off sequentially-multi stage can-rocket. My nickname was "Werner Von Firecracker." Scotty
