Default Trex 600e tail wag on high speed passes

Trex 600e tail wag on high speed passes. I have a stock 600e with a logitech 6100T gyro set at 75% on HH. Belt tension seems ok. Head speed is right where it needs to be on idle 2. I tightened up the belt thinking it was slipping but no change. What do I need to check next.

What is the Gyro showing you gain as? I run the 6100T on my 600 and have the gain set in HH right at 30% on the gyro's readout. Mine holds great. My little 450 was doing this when I switched the throttle curve to a straight 100% line. I had to lower the gain on my 401 gyro to keep the tail steady in fast forward flight.

Did you setup your tail mechanically to hold steady during a hover in rate mode before switching to heading hold mode?

Here are some great videos on how to [link=http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=37202&highlight=logictech]Setup the Logictech 6100T gyro.[/link] and trouble shoot it as well.

Hope this helped.

No I did'nt set my gyro up on rate mode. I guess I'll have to do that first. I'll check out that link you sent me for more information. Thanks. I'll let you know how it goes.

I bought my 600 used and it had the 6100T already installed on it. I followed the Finless Bob "Initial setup on the Bench" and then the "In the field flight setup" videos and mine works super. Follow those videos then report back on how it works.

Buzzing or wag in high speed flight means too much gain.
