Default Source for .008 steel cable for half A flying lines?

I can find line sets but I was wanting to buy a smallish spool to make up multiple sets of lines for myself and possibly others.
I tried to do asearch but was tired and all the results I found featured solid .008 wire and other stranded cale of much larger dia.
I'll try again when i feel better but for now I thought I might ask and someone else might know.

Thanks in advance, Robert

Unless you are flying competition, the fishing store (Walmart) has "Spider Wire" a braided fishing line that is cheap, easy to use, practically no stretch and 50# test is very small diameter. I wouldn't use anything else for sport 1/2 A. Of course as I alluded to, AMA competition is a whole 'nother ball game. Have Fun.
