RCsuperstore.com legit? or scam?
Hi, I am looking into doing a brushless conversion with the the neu-castle 2200kv combo. RCsuperstore is the cheapest site to have it in stock, but I coulsn't find any reviews. Has anyone bought from them before? I want to make sure that it is not some sort of scam and that it is reliable before i put down $260 there.

The owners name is Kimm DeVries. Great guy. I do know that he is a home based operation out of his garage in Minnesota. Very freindly and personable. Sometimes it takes him a while to respond to e- mails, so do not let that discourage you. I have purchased items from Kimm before, in person as well as over the internet. Never had a problem. Check out his store on the Bay seller name rcsuperstore. Last I checked he had a 44000 + feed back score and I think he has been selling there since 2002. I would definetly recommend him

well, as it turns out, he ran out of stock on the ESC/motor combo between last night and today. As such I'll be ordering elsewhere
Thanks for your input, I'll order from him next time.

I dealt with them during the holidays great ebayers, I will buy from them again, fast shipping & good prices.
But with every good price on ebay you better check the shipping price.
It is very common for less reputable ebay companies to jack up the shipping cost to make up for the slightly lower price.
It's amazing a 5 oz. part for $8.00 with a $12.95 shipping charge.
Good luck

As an Ebay seller, it is a tough act to list products competing with other sellers, you have to pay listing fees and final fees, cover your packaging, and your postage. Some guys gouge a little on shipping, then sell cheaper. Just watch the shipping and item costs.... they all have the same type overhead, so they have to get their money back at least, somehow. 8^) I have bought a lot of stuff from him and he has always been great.

is the website the same as the ebay store?

As for shipping, USPS has raised rates, so not all "high" shipping is unnecessarily so. I know I have adjusted my shipping rates accordingly....some haven't.
