Futuba 2PL Megatech? Good Enough?
Is this good enough for a beginner that will be getting a TT-01D? Budget is ~ $80
Not really looking to spend more if its not needed.

The 2PL is an AM system. Get at least a FM or see if you can find a used 2.4ghz. Lots of good cheap FM radios out there due to guys upgrading to 2.4ghz.

Well since it's an electric car you only need one servo. The servo controls the arm that steers the car but the electronic speed control will control the speed so you don't need a servo for it.
