Default Blade CX2 Problem, any suggestions?

Hello everyone. My name is Michael, and Im having an issue with my Blade CX2.
I am using the stock controller it came with LP5DSM. The issues I am having are,

First, when I attempt to turn the heli by left hand control stick to the left the heli doesn't respond at all (when moving it to the right side the heli turns as normal) Also, the heli when in air (which is very unstable ATM) keeps veering off to one side no matter what trim settings, etc I try. While im sure this is connected to the prior issue I wanted to include this as well.

I have replaced a few parts today in attempt to solve this issue (needed to be done anyway, but none of this helped)
Replaced the outer and inner shafts. The Outer shaft retaining collar, and the bearings that fit in the body for the outer shaft.
The only "upgrades" I am currently using is an aluminum lower rotor head, and a carbon tail boom (version from Mircoheli)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

CRAP! I forgot one extra addon I've installed. Sorry, but I also have installed a "Heatsink" as well.

You're right down the rode from me, PM me with your phone number and I'll give you a call to see if we can work through it.

If worse comes to worse I can drive over maybe this weekend and see if I can get you up and flying?

Just an update. After much trial and error (and a few choice cuss words) I think I finally have this sucker fixed up. Just got a very decent hover in our living room just now.

Mr. Skinner (barak1001) really knows his stuff, and got me on the right track. Now just gotta replace my flybar, and grab myself another inner shaft and im back in the air =)

Thanks again, couldn't have got it going without your help!

Apparently it was a combination of a few different things.

One of the motors was bad so I replaced them both. I had to adjust one of the settings on the 3-in-1. Checked all the wires, unhooked everything and hooked it all back in to make sure I had a good connection, and had to rearrange the wires inside the canopy to get them away from the servos and motors.

I do think my receiver may be bad (or going bad). Even after rebinding Im having trouble somewhere between the remote and heli. I have to turn the remote on, hookup the battery to the heli. Wait a few seconds for it to register (the servos then work) but in order to use the throttle I have to turn the remote back off and on again and let it rebind a second time. After that everything is A-OK.

For now, im just super thankful to be able to get it back in the air. Its a crappy feeling sitting here looking at it just sitting there =)

GLAD to read that you got your CX2 back into the air!!!! And let me share a thought....

Those of us who choose rotary flight over fixed-wing have a certain wish to punish ourselves with untold hours at the bench, wondering what-the-*^%$$ we did wrong!

I am pleased (after many crash-and-rebuild hours) with the performance of my CX2.... And looking forward to many more crash-and-rebuild hours with the B-400.

Onward and Upward!!!!!!!!!

So true!

While I did purchase a Lama V4 during all these issues with my CX2 (and no doubt, the Lama is a great little heli) I was super excited to see the CX2 back in the air. Was such an awesome feeling watching it actually work the way it was suppose to, lol. Cheesy I know =)

Since then I have managed to bust up my canopy (fell off mid flight, the nose shattered) so for now Im flying it around my living room without one. Looks funny, but it flies so nice =)

I really like the looks of those 400's I've seen one in action before in a hobby store down by my parents.. Those jokers are awesome.

The B400 still scares me, being a relative novice. But because crash parts are quickly available at my LHS, I figure it was the logical choice to practice CP flying... That accomplished, next up will be a Trex 600E kit build. I'm partial to the no-fuss aspect of the electrics... And as battery technology moves forward by leaps & bounds, I think they're the way of the future.
