Default evolution 58gx2

Has anyone been useing one of these engines . I recieved mine 2 weeks ago ,but i find that i cannot get automatic choke on the ignition system which it is advertised to do so. I have been waiting since August last year for this engine to come to the UK . I have been in touch with horizine , the first reply i had was that i had the right ignition , but when i explained that there was no port to plug the servo in the ignition they said they would make some enquiries ,this was a week ago . I was wondering if others have had the same problem. Thank for any replies that i might have

They changed the iqnition, the did away with the auto-choke. I have the Evolution 45gx2 with auto-choke, but I put it on a spare receiver port. I purchased the Evolution 58gx last week(new), it run great, smooth and lots of power(24x10Xoar)
I called Horizon and confirmed the ignition change.. Here is a 20 second video of my break-in with a Xoar 24x10 prop.

What RPMs have you recorded spinning the Xoar 24x10?

I got it up to around 6800 for a very short time. I ran 64 ozs thru it on the bench and stayed between 1/2 and 3/4 throttle most of the time. After a couple of gallons I will tune it for max rpm. The engine is going in a Ultimate 20-300 from AeroWorks
