You're name calling, and you're calling me an [link=http://wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=imbecile]imbecile[/link] (note the definition for the adjective use of the word)? Now that, my boy, is ironic.

I REALLY DON'T CARE IF SOMEONE POSTS ABOUT AN RS4 IN THE OFF-ROAD ELECTRIC FORUM, all I want is for people to use the search function before posting new threads...
that is 100X more annoying than ppl over posting about a subject, and they are much much less likely to get a decent responce becase A. the people in that forum probally don't know much about that topic B. they probally won't go into the thread because its like, hey look at this idiot posting in the wrong place C. they'll probally not want to come back to the forum because people didn't reply or told them to they were an idiot and were posting in the wrong spot. where as with overposting a subject, with a little time you may run into a thread pertaining to what you're looking for asked by someone else, the people on the forum and sure to get a good responce with lots of info from people because they probally have read a few of the overposted threads and have learned a thing or two, i know i have...

also the search function on here isn't the first thing you see on a page, so for a new person the for boards the see the new post button at the top they hit it, i know i have, as opposed to the search function, also as human we like to think our problems are unique/specail to only us, so we go post happy....

Cool i'm glad to see this going into production or so it seems should be pretty sweet

and as for the theads, if you guys are getting all PO'd and taking eachother heads off over a subject that has a grand total of now THREE threads about it, well thats just dumb... there have been MANY MANY thread i've seen where people repeatedly ask questions about new picco's, pipe setups for XL's, setups for X ss's... do i go taking their heads off and telling them to go use the search feature... nope i tell them what i know about the topic, and add my opinion if i want to, if not i'll just let someone else add thiers easy as that, and i think people should also not tell people to go certain places to post stuff or read stuff because some people don't bother to check out EVERY possible forum that their RC vehicle may fall under... on rcu i check 3 forums, HPI MT, electric off road and mini (sport wereks chaos thread only) and i'm sure there are many people out there who do similar so dont get all PO'd that they don't know about threads in places that they might not've visted...

I would rather have people make a new post. That way when people do use the seach they can find the info that they are looking for.

For example try finding some information on the HPI MT2. I am sure anything you try to find will bring up the 764 page "Official HPI MT2" post. Yea the info your looking for is in that post but it doesnt take you to the page. So you can start scanning 764 pages. Where as if a new post was made you wouldnt have so much stuff to sort through.

The Picco Engine post is starting to get that way 25 pages. The more pages you get the less likely some one is going to scan for the information they are looking for.

Or, on the forum search, you can click the little "Search for posts" button

I must have deleted 2 dozen posts in this thread. This is real easy folks - if you think something is inappropriate just report it. Posting complaints, name calling etc adds no value to any conversation - and in fact inhibits the free flow of information.

keep things on topic please.

How else are you going to get that nitro crawler to go 50mph and be stable?

Lower center of gravity. Keeps it more stable.
