12x aerial replacement ???
Gents
Has anyone replaced there own aerial on the 12X?
If so got any tips on how to do it?????
I have removed every screw that is visible and still the rear case does not come away.

My perserverance payed off! case seperation is not necessary the aerial connection is under the (in my example) blanking plate where a module would plug in.
The connection is mechanically stabilised with a blob of hot glue, the aerial wire can easily be routed through the hole in the rear of the 'module' with the access available after the aerial mount is removed.

I suppose for the same reason that someone whould post in capital letters and can't put a proper sentence together.
Comments like yours and mine are not helpful and serve no purpose.
I assume this was an external Spektrum module with that horrible external aerial wire, and the modification was to re-route the aerial wire intenally to provide some damage protection. Good job by the way, and if you are still using the original cable and aerial then the CE markings or the US equivilant would not be invalidated.
