aileron Differential on JR X378
Hello:
I am pretty new to this so perhaps I am confused. I am trying to set up aileron differential on a Phaeton biplane. Starting with zero, as I increase the differential the ailerons move more down than up. SHouldn't it be the opposite? Don't you want to have more up than down so there is less drag on the outside wing in a turn?
If I am right, how do I make the ailerons move more up than down?
Jeff

I tried that (decreasing) but the range is 0 to 100. It won't go into negative number territory. I think I resolved the issue though. As I was trying various things, I found that while adjusting the aileron sub trim, if you throw the stick all the way to the left, you can change the end point manually. I did this for both aileron and flap so now the range is about where I want it. I will fly it this morning to try it out.
Thanks,
Jeff

Yes, it should be opposite. To correct this, swap the channels that the servos are plugged into in the receiver. That is if your left aileron servo is plugged into channel 2 and your right into channel 6, reverse them so that your right servo is plugged into channel 2 and your left is in channel 6.
