Help with Picco .28
I have a Picco .28 that is somewhat broken in, at least to tuning stages. (I know these motors arent truely broken in unitll around 2 gallons) I brought it out today for the first time in a long time, and while chasing a tune I ended up screwing it up royally. Tried to start at stock settings and go from there. Even worse. So now I don't know where things should be. I almost feel I should have left the tune I had on it alone, it took a long while to get it that nice in the first place. Any opinions on needle settings most of you are running. Some info: 3/4 gallon, at sea level, McCoy MC-8, Trinity Monster Horsepower 20%, STS header, Ofna 086, sealed all except carb end bell. This thing has always been a nightmare now that I think back... Mabye it's time for that LRP .30?![sm=confused.gif]

RE: Help with Picco .28
I think if you use a proper plug you might be a little better off. I have found that the 51007 has worked extrememly well in my .28 and the 51006 when I went to the turbo head.
My only issues have been the bad carb and I cannot seem to chase that down at all. I am going to send mine away and get it fixed (again).

RE: Help with Picco .28
That plug isn't readily available to me. I'd have to order it. But it was definatly something at the top of my head. I will have to get a few with my next order. It seems that the formula is that plug, Byrons Gen2 30%, and an 086. Thanks for the reply. Anyone else with ideas? Different carb possibly? (Would F4.6, or Mach .26 fit?)
