Optimal EvoJet Booster for the CARF Flash
Chad,
Which EvoJet Booster model would you deem best suited for the Composite-ARF Flash - the 130, I suppose? I understand that that plane can be flown with a variety of turbines, but I would appreciate your thoughts on the optimal choice (for an experienced pilot).
Thank you in advance.

RE: Optimal EvoJet Booster for the CARF Flash
B,
You are absolutely right; the Flash will fly great on everything from a 90 to a 160. I have a 160 in mine, but it is turned down to 120k rpm's. This puts it at about the same level as a 130. So the answer to your question is I think a 130 is perfect, however, at the same size and weight, I think the 160 turned down will suit more aircraft in the future.
If the price difference is not a problem, get the 160. If it is, get the 130.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Chad,
Would a 160 turned down to 120K rpm have higher fuel consumption than a 130, hence possibly lead to such a downside?
Thank you in advance again.

B,
The fuel consumption difference would be negligible. Certainly not enough to be a factor either way.
The price difference is truly the only measurable difference.
