Still working on my H9 P-47 It's the older non razorback version.
Converted it to electric power with the adapter from the later version.
Problems with the mechanical retracts and sorting them out are the current issue.
Next will be construction of a battery holder for the 6S 5000mah lipo.
I obtained a second "belly pan", and intend to mount speakers in it.
Still obsessing on how to mount the cowl. I'd like to use magnets and alignment pins.
The fake engine is ready to install when I get the cowl mounting scheme working.
I haven't decided to use the existing method of removing the wing to get to the battery (simpler),
Or do a major mod for top access. A side issue of reorganizing the shop to get rid of clutter, and add
carts to support models and add drawer storage space has slowed things down.
One of the carts is intended to become a battery storage and charge station.

Hi Guys! I'd like to join the Brotherhood... I built a Top Flite Razorback and put a commemorative covering scheme on it. I love this plane! Have four flights on her and still need to make a few adjustments to get it the way I want it.

I have a T/F Giant Scale Razor back version, G62 for power, beautiful to fly, also an ESM 72in version, 30cc DLE, also great to fly, then a little foamy version, also nice to fly, the 47's have to be one of the nicest models to fly, everyone that has one is happy with it.

I have a Byron T-bolt and the Top Flight 60 size kit T-bolt. The Byron still flies with its PurrPowr Sachs 4.2 and Byron 4-blade prop, and we are still using the Byron retracts. It is not a rocket by any stretch of the imagination, but it flies well overall. The TF 60 size is motivated with an old Tower 75 and with Robarts and flaps it has been an a great trainer for stepping up to the bigger warbirds. A few planes down on my building list is to do a TF giant Jug, it will be a few more seasons till that gets built though.

The retracts are Pnuematic, I use Small Pnuematic Air Cylinders to operate the Inner Gear Doors, mounted in the bay that is normally used to mount the Retract Servo to operate mechanical retracts (see photo); the inner Gear Door hinges are offset hinges and the outer Gear Door hinges are the simple nylon piano hinges; the sequencer is an 'Ultra Precision Pnuematic Sequencer'

Mine work perfectly with the JR 791 Retract Servo and a 4.8 volt regulator.
Been thinking of putting a longer arm and using a regular High Torque Servo and the
servo speed program on my HiTec RCD Aurora 9. Did have one weld break at the scissors
but a buddy with a TIG Welder fixed it for me. Other than that they work fine.
